Mid June and the Squadron is fully committed, we've had a fantastic early start to the summer with succesful visits to Abingdon and Shuttleworth and of course a fantastic weekend at RAF 100 at Cosford, where our new pairs display routine was well received.
We recently flew 94 year old Ian Kerr-Bonner, and ex WW2 Glider pilot from Pembroke to Maidstone in order that he could pay his final respects to his lifelong friend Des Page (RIP). It was an absolute privilege for the Squadron, many of whom are ex Army Air Corps to become involved in such an emotional and worthwhile event.

G-ZZLE is currently out of action for a week or so whilst we prepare her for the RNAS Yeovilton airshow on Saturday 7th July where we will be performing as a pair. We'll also have an aircraft on static display, so please come along and say hello.
Weston Super Mare is always a favourite of ours, who doesn't enjoy a trip to the seaside? We're there for the weekend of 23rd - 24th June, where we'll be performing a solo display in G-ZZEL whilst G-CBSK will be accessible to the public on the promenade.
The Medway Armed Forces day is on 30th June and once again we'll be supplying a couple of aircraft for visitors to get up close and personal with and speak with the crews.
